One of our newest additions answers the questions you've been dying to know.

Have you noticed anything different about our high school? Besides the fact we no longer have to worry about the ceiling unexpectedly leaking during class, we have a new teacher. He doesn't exactly blend in either, at a monstrous height of 6'7", Jason Peters seems to tower over the rest of us. I had the opportunity to sit down with our new World History teacher and football coach.

Q: Where did you grow up and attend high school?
A: Hilliard, OH. I attended Hilliard HS (there was only 1)

Q: Did you play any sports other than the obvious football?
A: Baseball (9), Basketball (10), Track (12)

Q: Where did you attend college, was it a good experience?
A: The Bowling Green State University, I had a great experience, it is a wonderful academic institution.

Q: What made you decide to become a teacher?
A: I always wanted to be one; there was nothing else I really wanted to do.

Q: Where have you taught in your career?
A: Fostoria, Hilliard Darby, and here.

Q: What is different from teaching at a big school than teaching a smaller school?
A: You know more people, and you have time to get to know your students and people.

Q: Which do you like better?
A: Well, after I get over the culture shock, I like the small school much better. It is a much more person friendly environment.

Q: What advice would you give to seniors applying to college?
A: Go where you like, but go for the cheapest, free is a great school to go to.

Q: What is your favorite grade to teach?
A: I will let you know, I have taught mostly freshmen and sophomores in my career; teaching seniors is new to me.

Q: If you had one wish, what would it be?
A: To have all my bills paid off.

Q: Do you like football players better than regular students?
A: They both have their moments, but students tend to smell a whole lot better.

Lightning Round

Q: Coaching or Teaching?
A: YES.

Q: Cold or Hot?
A: Cold

Q: Sweet or Sour?
A: Sweet like me.

Q: Chocolate or Peanut Butter?
A: Both, I love peanut butter M & M's.

Q: Steak or Chicken?
A: Steak

Q: Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan?
A: Please, do I have to pick one?

Q: NSYNC or Backstreet Boys?
A: Even worse, I would rather sit in silence than listen to these guys.

Q: Nobel Prize or Super Bowl Ring?
A: Super Bowl Ring

Q: Ability to Fly or Read Minds?
A: Read Minds, although flying would save on gas money

There you have it. Now we all know a little more about this gentle giant.
