Local Report Card Information

Grandview Heights City School District is proud of its EXCELLENT with DISTINCTION designation.

In August 1997, the Ohio General Assembly passed Senate Bill 55, which requires the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) to issue report cards to every school district in Ohio as well as a composite, state-level report card on the fiscal and academic performance of Ohio's educational system.

The purpose of the report card is to provide families and communities with information about how well their schools are performing - where they are succeeding and where there is room for improvement. They are intended to serve as tools for helping families make informed decisions about their schools - and for helping educators make effective management decisions, especially as they relate to school improvement planning. The report cards are designed to spark constructive dialogue about school improvement among families, community members and educators.

Information about the current District Report Card is available at the Department of Education.
